An adventurous spirit stirs within me, while exploration pulls at me. A deep regard for the environment holds me. This inner compass goes hand in hand with recording and creating photographic images that capture the world we inhabit (although I could do without mosquitoes). At the edge of Trillium Lake, I found this group of stones. I wondered if the placement was natural. Or, if some other photographer had carefully placed them? I chose to believe they naturally found their place of rest. Returning to this location many times would reveal a new feeling. A winter storm could blanket everything in a pillowy white. I could meditate here on a warm sunny summer afternoon. I envision this place on a starry night or, an evening of dramatic light. I find so many places that inspire life and the riches found if we simply take the time to look.
