"Open Edition Prints" vs "Limited Edition Art Prints". For more details click HERE.
Mt. Shuksan (near Mt. Baker) looms majestically about the tree-lined clear flowing Hannegan Creek in Northwest Washington in the fall after some first mountain snowfall. It looks like a great fly fishing area. See "full description and specifications" below for location.
This location is an easy drive. Take Highway 542 to Mt. Baker. Just before the bridge that crosses Hannegan Creek, there is a turnout for the Shuksan Picnic Area. Drive up the dirt road (NF 32) just a ways and you can't miss this beautiful place. Park near the bridge that crosses Swamp Creek. This area was the home of the legendary mountain man Jerry Bourne, until his passing in 1980. He left behind many stories and his cabin that eventually succumbed to deterioration, vandalism, and fire. https://www.preservewa.org/most_endangered/anderson-baum-cabin/
