A small vessel moves from a protected anchorage inside Clark Point near Bellingham. Points beyond that this vessel will be sailing to are unknown but the sky seems to grace her adventure ceremoniously with "smooth sailing".
Originally this image was captured in a 3 shot film panorama in 1987 with a Mamiya RZ medium format camera. When digital imagery eventually became available the film was scanned on an Imacon high resolution scanner and "stitched together" manually in and early version of Photoshop when the panorama build option was not available. The resulting build was carefully prepared to offer images as large as 70w x 30h. Larger images can be made available upon special request.
